The shooting of Dagrin's movie "Ghetto Dreamz" is under way after long auditions and is expected to be completed in April,the month the rapper died.
The main cast are:
Trybson Dudukoko of Stingomania entertainment as Dagrin.
Award winning Yoruba actress, Doris Simeon as Dagrin's girlfriend.
Pa Kasumu as Dagrin's father.
Rachael Oniga as Dagrin's mother.
And Dagrin's friend to be played by Gabriel Afolayan.
Others include Kelechi Udegbe, Oyindamola Odeshola. Ghetto dreamz is to be released in April to launch Dagrin memorial project.
The "Ghetto Dreamz" movie is a biopic based on the life, dreams, and experiences of the late rapper Oladipupo Olaonipekun, popularly known as Dagrin. The movie, produced by Ope Banwo and Directed by Daniel Ademinokan explores the different aspects of Dagrin as he pursues his goals of success and dreams of stardom despite his limitations, background and opposition from the established music industry.
