USERS of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority's (Acra) services can now access information on the move. The agency launched a new application for iPhone users on Tuesday, which can be downloaded for free from Apple's App Store.
The application, known as 'Acra on the go', is an extension of the existing services that Acra has on its website, as well as its electronic online filing and information retrieval portal BizFile.
'In a fast-moving business environment like Singapore's, the business community often requires information on the go,' said Acra's chief executive Juthika Ramanathan in a statement.
The application will allow users to access three services unique to Acra: the directory search of registered companies, the AGM calculator to check the last possible date of a company's next annual general meeting, and and mFAQ, a mobile version of Acra's online inquiry service. Read More
