It’s no secret that Kashiwagi Yuki has been going place as of late. Between her exposure as a weather girl and the debut of her sub-group French Kiss, the past year has seen her popularity rise far more so than any other AKB48 member. Which is why she takes the number three spot this year. The question remains if she will be able to bridge the sizable gap between her and second place in time to come.

Regardless of her rare participation in theater performances and decreasing appearance on AKB48 related shows, Shinoda Mariko drops only a single spot this year, no doubt thanks to her exposure through other popular mediums.

Watanabe Mayu continues to increase her fanbase at a steady level. Allowing her to retain her position at #5. Arguably, her timely photobook release may have helped too.

AKB48′s lazy queen has not been standing out any more particularly than last year, with her drama career temporarily coming to a standstill. Instead Kojima opts to continue her strong presence in AKB48, variety shows and her sub-unit No Sleeves. It also helps that she appears far more frequently than any other member in publications, with it being impossible to not find at least one magazine featuring a bikini-clad Kojima on shelves on any given day. Kojima Haruna takes the sixth spot by a narrow edge of just 130 votes.

Takahashi Minami

7. Takahashi Minami

Team A’s captain and now official leader of the entire AKB48. With no distractions with the exception of being part No Sleeves (as well), Takahashi’s hard work and dedication toward the idol group continues to garner the respect of fans all over.

Itano Tomomi

Despite her solo debut this year and her role as the face of the popular Samantha Vega, Itano Tomomi drops 4 spots this year. She doesn’t lag far behind the previous two though.

Sashihara Rino

While she had been promoted extensively for years, the past year has been especially good to Sashihara Rino. Her post Heavy Rotation feature as the video’s least prominent member and subsequent popularity stunts have struck gold with the public who find it rather difficult not to like AKB48′s most notorious wota.

Long regarded as one of SKE48′s most popular members. SKE48′s hidden ace Matsui Rena had missed making last year’s top 10 by just 84 votes. This year she overtakes fellow SKE48′s Matsui Jurina (and most of the 48 groups) to become SKE48′s highest ranking representative.

講師は雷鳥だけでなく、高い山の自然環境にも造詣が深い。雷鳥の生態を話しようとす

ると、高い山の自然環境についても語らなくてはならないし、雪、ハイマツ、山の成り立ちなど広い見識の持ち主。また、初めての人にも判り易くユーモアを持って話していただける。

湯布院の隠れ家的存在の宿、山荘　紗羅樹（しゃらのき）のご紹介です。周りは山と畑しかない静かな田舎風旅館ですが、リピーターが後を絶たない人気の理由はなんでしょうか。クチコミなどを見てみると、サービスと食事の評価がとても高く、また紗羅樹を利用したいと答えている人が本当に多いです。部屋は全部で４室しかなく、食事は全てが手作りということから、山荘　紗羅樹のこだわりぶりが伝わってきます。

大浴場がないのですが、全て離れ形式の部屋にはゆったりした檜風呂があり、湯布院の自然を眺めながら温泉に入ることが出来ます。２４時間源泉掛け流しなのでいつでも入れるのも嬉しいですね。食事は豪華ではないけれど、これこそが本来のご馳走なのだといえるような手の込んだ、体に優しいお料理が並び、味もとても良いそうです。玄米ご飯や手作り味噌を使ったお味噌汁などが出てくるという朝ごはんはぜひ食べてみたいです。魚と肉以外は全て自家製ということですから凄いですね。

とにかく、山荘　紗羅樹は色んなところにこだわっている旅館みたいです。山の中にひっそりと佇む旅館なので、初めていく場合はわかりづらいかも・・・ということらしいですが、湯布院町から電話をすると旅館の方が親切に教えてくれるそうです。日頃の忙しさを忘れゆっくりと温泉気分に浸りたい方にはぴったりの宿ではないでしょうか。お部屋が４室しかないとのことなので、予約が取りにくそうですが、一度訪れてみたい旅館です。 Read More

『イケ☆パラ』男性キャスト決定！ 中村蒼＆三浦翔平が小栗＆生田の後継役

俳優の中村蒼、 三浦翔平が、7月スタートのAKB48・前田敦子主演ドラマ『花ざかりの君たちへ～イケメン☆パラダイス～2011』（毎週日曜　後9：00　フジテレビ系）でイケメン男子生徒役で出演することが15日、わかった。中村は、2007年放送の前作『～イケメン♂パラダイス』で小栗旬が演じた佐野泉、三浦は生田斗真の中津秀一役をそれぞれ引継ぎ、前田との三角関係を演じる。前作が小栗、生田ともに飛躍のきっかけと作品だけに、後任を務める中村は「イケメンはイケメンでも外見だけでなく、佐野の内に秘めた熱さや芯の強さなど、内面的なイケメンを目指したい」と熱く意気込む。

同作は2007年7月期に火曜9時枠で放送され、女優・堀北真希主演で人気を集めた前作『～イケメン♂パラダイス』がキャストを一新して4年ぶりに生まれ変わる。原作は月刊少女マンガ誌『花とゆめ』（白泉社）で連載された中条比紗也の人気コミック『花ざかりの君たちへ』で、全23巻の単行本は少女コミックとしては異例の大ヒットを記録している。

学校一のイケメンで走り高跳びの選手・佐野泉を演じる中村は主演の前田について、「前田さんはテレビで歌っている可愛らしいイメージがあるので、今回の男らしい役とのギャップを楽しみにしています」と期待。一方、瑞稀（前田）と佐野のクラスメイトでスポーツ万能なサッカー少年・中津秀一を演じる三浦は「前作のイメージが強かったので嬉しい反面、正直プレッシャーも感じました。でもみんなで団結すればそれが映像として伝わるんじゃないかと思うので、全力でバカになって中津役を演じていきたいです」と意気込んだ。

将来を有望視されながらも事故でケガを負ったことから、飛ぶことをやめてしまった佐野に一目ぼれした芦屋瑞稀（前田）が佐野をもう一度飛ばせるため、イケメンだらけの全寮制男子校に“男装”して編入。親友となった瑞稀と佐野（中村）、中津（三浦）の甘く切ない三角関係が描かれる。

Indonesian cleric gets 15 years on terror charge

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — The Indonesian Muslim cleric known as spiritual leader of the militants who carried out the deadly 2002 Bali bombings was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison for his support of a terror training camp uncovered last year.

Abu Bakar Bashir's conviction for incitement of terrorism followed two unsuccessful attempts by prosecutors over the past eight years to link him to terror activities, including a conviction that was later overturned in the Bali attacks that killed 202 people. The relatively stern sentence for Bashir, now 72, shows Indonesia's continuing resolve to tackle its deadly extremist movement. The verdict was announced at a Jakarta courthouse amid tight security, with nearly 3,200 police and soldiers patrolling the surrounding area. Bashir, who denies involvement in terrorism, rejected the ruling, and his lawyer said it would be appealed. "This verdict ignores Sharia law and is based on the infidel law, so it's forbidden for me to accept it," Bashir said in the courtroom.

Hundreds of Bashir's supporters outside the court, some carrying placards saying "Free Abu Bakar Bashir," reacted to the ruling with shock. Many shouted "God is Great" and others wept. Their leaders urged them to be calm. The crowd dispersed peacefully. The aging cleric has been a potent symbol for Indonesia's radical Islamists and, even if not operationally involved in terrorist attacks, is believed by experts to provide crucial ideological sanction for violent extremism. Prosecutors said Bashir provided key support for a jihadi training camp discovered in early 2010 in westernmost Aceh province that brought together men from almost every known Indonesian extremist group. Militants there allegedly intended to carry out attacks on foreigners and assassinations of moderate Muslim leaders such as Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Bashir was found guilty of inciting terrorism in connection with the jungle camp. But he was not convicted of a charge of funding terrorist activities, with the panel of judges saying there was not enough evidence to prove that Bashir knew that money he raised was used to purchase guns for the training camp. Arrested militants testified that Bashir watched a video of the Aceh military training and received written reports assuring him that funds he had raised were being used for the struggle to build an Islamic state. Bashir denied involvement in the camp but repeatedly defended it as legal under Islam. He told reporters before the verdict that the trial was an attempt by the U.S. and Australia "to eliminate me from Indonesia."

Jemaah Islamiyah, the radical group co-founded by Bashir, thrust Indonesia into the front lines of the battle against terrorism with its 2002 bombings on the tourist island of Bali that killed 202 people, many of them Australians and Americans. Since then, the government's counterterrorism campaign has had notable successes, including convictions of dozens of Jemaah Islamiyah operatives in the Bali blasts. Three were executed. Key radicals also have been killed in shootouts, hundreds of foot soldiers arrested, and the capacity of groups like Jemaah Islamiyah to strike at government and Western targets within Indonesia has been disrupted.

The sentence is "an indication of how strong the Indonesian government's commitment continues to be in terms of prosecuting terrorism in open trials and through effective law enforcement," said Sidney Jones, an expert on Southeast Asian terrorism at the International Crisis Group. "But it doesn't have a direct impact on the strength or weakness of the terrorist threat. Most of the people we see active now are operating in small groups without direction from a single leader like Bashir," she said. Australia welcomed the verdict, with Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd saying it will bring "some measure of justice" to the families of victims of terrorism, and that "full credit" goes to Indonesian authorities for pursuing the case.

Authorities raided the Aceh camp in February of last year, and arrested more than 120 suspected terrorist in the ensuing months. Some experts say the camp's organizers envisaged it as a vehicle for radicalizing the Acehnese people and as the nucleus of a future Islamic state. In his summary of the trial, presiding judge Herry Swantoro said militants arrested in the raids had testified that they learned to use weapons, read maps and other aspects of military training at the camp. Prosecutors said Bashir raised about 1.03 billion Indonesian rupiah ($120,800), which was used to buy guns, ammunition and equipment for jihadist training.

Bashir spent previous stints in detention. He was arrested almost immediately after the Bali bombings, but prosecutors were unable to prove a string of terrorism-related allegations and reduced his four-year prison sentence to 18 months for immigration violations. Soon after his release, he was re-arrested and sentenced to 2 1/2 years, this time for inciting the Bali blasts, a charge that was overturned on appeal. He was freed in 2006. Brian Deegan, whose 21-year-old son Josh was among the 88 Australians killed in the Bali bombings, welcomed the sentence. Deegan, a lawyer in the southern Australian city of Adelaide, said victims and their families would be satisfied with Bashir's harsher sentence this time. "It gives a degree of satisfaction that the courts are treating him more appropriately than they did with respect to the Bali tragedy," Deegan said. Read More

ＫＡＲＡ　お尻、ペンギン…今度はパラパラ！

今度は“カラパラ”！！韓国５人組女性グループ「ＫＡＲＡ」が、今月２９日に発売する新曲「ＧＯ　ＧＯ　サマー！」のミュージックビデオで、日本発祥のダンスであるパラパラを披露する。

ビーチリゾートをイメージした作品内で、５人がパラパラを踊るのはサビの後の間奏部分。リズムに合わせてかわいくコミカルに腕を動かす。パラパラは韓国でも知られたダンスで、夏にピッタリのポップチューンの曲調やイメージに合うとして採用。メンバー自身がＫＡＲＡと組み合わせた「カラパラ」と命名した。

パラパラは手と腕の振りと、足の２ステップを特徴としたダンスで、８０年代後半に日本のディスコで発祥したとされる。９０年代にユーロビートの流行に乗り大ブームとなった。ここ数年は下火だったが、カラパラで新たなパラパラブームに火が付くこと間違いなしだ。

ＫＡＲＡは大ヒットした昨年８月の日本デビュー曲「ミスター」で、お尻をキュートに回す「ヒップダンス」を披露。ＫＡＲＡの代名詞となるほど人気を集め、宴会芸の定番となり大流行となった。続くシングル「ジャンピン」ではスキーを滑るようにステップする「ジャンピンダンス」、３枚目の「ジェットコースターラブ」では、手のひらをパタパタさせる「ペンギンダンス」でアピール。シングル発売のたびに、ダンスも大注目を集めている。

Aquino will lead the Independence Day celebration at the Rizal Park where several activities are lined up to highlight the importance and significance of the event.

Valte urged the public to take part in the Independence Day activities.

“In your free time perhaps, you can go watch the Independence Day parade and all other activities. We also have a job fair,” Valte said.

The job fair and annual parade take place at the Rizal Park.

Valte also said that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent a congratulatory message through the US embassy in Manila reiterating US support to the Philippine government’s commitment to fight corruption, promote judicial reform, reduce poverty, and create opportunities for its people. “The United States and the Philippines are long-standing friends and partners. We stood together during World War II to defend liberal democratic values. Today, we are working together on many new fronts,” Clinton said.

“Whether we are working to find ways to catalyze economic growth, helping victims of natural disasters, combating extremism, or calling for greater protection of human rights, our two countries share a vision of a better world,” she said.

US Ambassador Harry Thomas Jr. said the Philippines and the US will maintain strong relationship “now and in the future” as Washington remains dedicated to being the Philippines’ partner whenever the country is in harm’s way.

イベントの模様は、日本全国86カ所および香港、台湾、韓国の映画館でも生中継された。アンダーガールとなる40位から順に投票数と名前が呼ばれると、会場に集まったファンは一喜一憂。Twitterのトレンドにも順位と名前が乱立。ハッシュタグ「#akbvote2011」などで、個々の応援や感想とともに随時速報が流れていた。

Buztterでは、確認した時点で「あっちゃん」が5000件近くつぶやかれていた。なお、「前田敦子」だと1200件、「大島優子」で914件と、順位をここでも裏付ける結果となっていた。
