PSN Possibly Back Up For Developers
The PSN has been down for nearly an entire month and a lot of gamers, including me, are getting bored with playing through their back catalogue of single-player games. According to rumors, the PSN may start restoring some of its functionality soon. Sony PSN partially restored in U.S., Europe
Gamers can now play online, use the chat service and download music. All other services are still down, and the PSN is still completely down in Asia. Following the attack, Sony confirmed that over 101 million users have had their personal data compromised, including names, profiles, addresses and credit card details. Sony promised to return service on May 7th but could not as the Network continued to remain unsecured. --- READ MORE

Ratloop Asia’s Rocketbirds Reloaded! PSN Trailer and Info
A pre-alpha trailer for Ratloop Asia’s Rocketbirds: Reloaded! was uploaded on the team’s blog this week. This Rocketbirds iteration is headed to the PlayStation Network for the 2011 Holiday (presumably winter) and is based on Rocketbirds Revolution!, which was a triple 2010 IGF finalist and was highly praised in this DIY review by Geoff Gibson. The gameplay in Reloaded! seems to still be mainly a 2D action/puzzler, though the game is about more than just traversing on land. Ratloop’s blog states that Rocketbirds on the PSN will also support 3D stereo technology. --- READ MORE
